I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S9 to this phone when the prior one stopped working 2 months ago. I just use the phone basically for calls, texting, playing Pokemon Go, photos, scrolling the internet, Facebook, alarm clock and the calendar. So nothing too intense.
The increase in speed, upgrade to 5G, longer battery life, quality of photos and quicker multi-tasking have made this phone a happy upgrade. The difficulty in learning this new phone was negligible. My only dislike so far has been that I cannot do wireless charging; so nothing major.

Bought instead of S24 for my mother. Great performance, display large and clear. If you don’t need the cutting edge of performance it is a great deal. Uses separate memory card. Will look at this family for my next phone.

I bought this Samsung A35 international phone because I travel a lot and wanted the flexibility of a phone that could work internationally (by swapping a local SIM card). I also needed an affordable/good quality phone that was unlocked for T-Mobile in the US. Thus far, this phone is performed exactly as expected. T-Mobile added to their network without problem and transfered all the data from my old phone-no charge, no problem. Finally, this particular phone is quick – has large storage both RAM and internal storage which Samsung A35 phones sold for the American market do not have (Internal storage 256, Sim storage 256, RAM storage 8). I’ve yet to see how it works internationally, but as of today I’m very satisfied. If I have trouble down the road, I will update information to this review.
