My goal is to get a minimal protective case that protects all sides while at the same time having my pencil charge with no issues. This does all the above and more. Initially I have problems propping the ipad horizontally with the cover. I attribute it to being new. Couple of days later, the flaps isn’t getting loose anymore. The side cover that closes the folio covers the pencil well that I don’t have to worry anymore. Case feels pretty solid and I can charge with all the usb C cables I have (unlike the UAG plyo folio that seems to be incompatible with all my cables).
Now the issues I saw while using the case are:
    1. You cannot prop up the ipad vertically using the case. The cover can be rolled up like a triangle at the back and can hardly hold the weight of the ipad vertically.
    2. Its difficult to open the folio. The cover in the front doest not exceed the rubber sides and sits inside the screen area. To be able to open it, i have to use my nails to pick it and able to pull it up.

Overall, it’s a good folio. At least for my use case.

Super slim and functional case for my iPad Pro. The iPad popped right in and it looks great. I was looking for a case that was durable, gave good protection when in my backpack, and didn’t make the buttons hard to use. This adds almost no bulk to the iPad so it still fits in my small backpack easily. Also still works in my dash mount in the Jeep. The magnets are pretty strong without being difficult to open or put into “stand mode”. The small flap does fold to give enough room for an Apple Pencil if you use one, but I normally use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse when it’s on my desk.

I bought this symmetry case for my iPad M4 11 inch because I had a symmetry case for my 2018 iPad Pro, and that case was amazing. It’s incredible how much of a downgrade this case is compared to the 2018 case despite coming from the same company and the same product line. The feel of the case, the design, the protective corners all feel like they’ve been cheapened. The worst part of this case is that it will not stand on its own. When the cover is folded in its triangle shape, it will slip out, and the iPad will bang on the table. I have modified mine, adding sticky silicone bumpers to keep the cover from slipping. I was hoping after three months of use that the cover would soften up and stay in shape, but that has not happened. I would consider a cheaper case that looks similar next time, but it’s hard to find cases that are low profile without a bulky pencil add-on. It gets three stars because the case is OK if you’re not trying to stand it up.

Questa è la terza custodia che compero per i miei iPad, mi sono sempre durate anni e le ho sempre rivendute come usato insieme all’’iPad che non ha avuto il benché minimo segno di utilizzo. Molto consigliata il costo vale la spesa !

The OtterBox Symmetry Series Folio Case for iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) in Figment (Purple) is a solid choice for anyone looking to combine style, functionality, and protection. As my second pick after the Zugu Case, this OtterBox case offers a sleek design and practical features that make it a great alternative for everyday use.

Design & Aesthetic: The Figment purple color is vibrant and adds a pop of personality to the iPad Pro without being overly flashy. The case has an ultra-sleek design that maintains the slim profile of the iPad, making it easy to carry around in a bag or by hand. The folio cover has a soft touch and feels durable, while the overall build quality is what you’d expect from OtterBox—sturdy and well-made.

Protection: While it doesn’t offer the same level of rugged protection as the Zugu Case, the Symmetry Series Folio still provides reliable coverage for everyday bumps and scratches. The magnetic cover helps keep the screen protected when not in use and triggers the sleep/wake function, which works seamlessly. The edges of the case offer moderate protection, though it’s best suited for users who prioritize style and a slim form factor over heavy-duty protection.

Functionality: One of the highlights of this case is the multiple viewing positions, which allow for easy adjustment whether you’re typing, watching videos, or FaceTiming. The folio cover doubles as a stand, and while it doesn’t have the same magnetic strength as the Zugu, it’s stable enough for most uses. I appreciate the ease of adjusting the viewing angles, though it’s not quite as versatile as some other cases I’ve tried.

Ease of Use: The OtterBox Symmetry Folio is easy to snap on and off, which is great for those who frequently switch between using a case and going caseless. The magnetic closure is strong enough to keep the cover securely in place when closed, and the auto sleep/wake function helps conserve battery life without any lag or issues. It’s a user-friendly case that doesn’t add unnecessary complexity to the iPad experience.

Overall: The OtterBox Symmetry Series Folio Case for iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) is a stylish, functional, and reliable choice, especially for those who value a sleek design and moderate protection. While it falls just short of my top pick, the Zugu Case, it’s a fantastic option if you’re looking for a case that balances aesthetics with everyday usability. The vibrant color, ease of use, and practical features make it a worthy contender in the iPad Pro case market. If you’re looking for a case that combines style with OtterBox’s trusted quality, the Symmetry Folio in Figment is definitely worth considering!
